The FlexyPlant™ is an air and aluminum frame supported fabric-covered structure consisting of a ceiling and roof of woven polyolefin fabric coated with polyolefin film forming a pressurized air inflated pillow attached at its perimeter to an extruded aluminum frame which is supported by aluminum columns. The ceiling is supported by polyester webbing straps spanning the width of the structure between the support columns The top of these columns are attached by webbing straps over the roof with each end attached to the perimeter foundation. Air flow through the structure is controlled by a patented system of fabric curtains that roll up between the perimeter foundation and the tops of the columns. The structures are self cooling, utilizing convection and airfoil principles to economically move cool air through the structure without energy costs. Cold season heat gain and retention is excellent due to the light entry and insulating features of the inflated polyolefin fabric.

The unique growing environment of the FlexyPlant™ greenhouse structure provides superb natural ventilation and the best diffused light levels and insulating properties in the industry. The structures can be constructed with widths of 160 feet with 14 foot heights and any length required up to 900 feet long. The patented FlexyPlant™ greenhouse structure provides an ideal large scale enclosure for aquaculture, hydroponics, horticulture, pharmaculture and other commercial scale food growing operations. Truck and tractor access facilitate large scale materials handling and mechanization.

Lens-shaped roof and ceiling provide even diffused light.

Automated roll-up curtains and natural convection forces provide excellent ventillation.

In hot and dry climates fog nozzles can assist cooling.

In cold climates, when only minor ventillation is necessary, the computer control throttles down the range of curtain openings. Cold outside air is pre-heated and mixed with warmer inside air before reaching the growing area.
